I just received a little postcard in the mail today. It announces a show of great pots by one of pottery heroes, Catherine White. A wonderful slide show awaits you.
There is something like magic when Catherine combines energy and material richness to make these pots. Her "finger painting" is sublime even when she uses a motif such as the spiral, which certainly has become cliche´, but not in these paintings, though. Catherine's lines are visual paths full of new discoveries.
