Not only does Hummel have the same first two initials as moi, that's french for "moi", but it seems this calendar maker had a fondness for North German slip ware. ( Actually , the initials are M.I) I found this calendar from 1967 in some stuff from my parents attic that I have been sorting through. I thought the pots had some interesting patterns. Surely I must have picked up on these motifs as a young 6 year old budding potter.
