Went over to the "Barns" tonight and checked in with the resident artists of Penland. The residents host an open house every session throughout the school year. Matt Kelleher and Shoko Teruyama had some really nice pots in progress and in their gallery. Here are a couple of shots from their studio. It's hard to believe they've been here three years already. Luckily for the local clay community they will be moving to nearby Madison County, about 45 minutes or so from Penland.
