I've always struggled with any sort of "decoration", be it finger swipes, drawing, painting, etc. As part of my #apprenticeship this year I'm trying to push myself out of my comfort zone, not be so precious with pots, and make mistakes in the pursuit of growing as a potter and as an artist. I rather liked this pitcher and was terrified of putting any marks on it, of making a mistake while decorating and "ruining" it.
