A pottery blog by NC potter Michael Kline
Making pottery necessitates careful timing as the sequence from throwing to firing requires an almost “Goldilocks”-like scrutiny. The handle must go on when the thrown pot has firmed up “just right”, the slip inlay must be scraped when it has dried “just right”, the pots can be fired when they have dried out, and so on. Today all the pots are free of the dry cleaner plastic that we use to hold off drying and we start to glaze. . . #Koreanpotteryinfluence #mishima #sanggam #opasanggamstyle #керамика #seramikler #keraamika #kulolchilik #кераміка #seramik #cerámica #cerámica #clay #inlay #krukmakare #kastruller #takesforfrigginever #cousinsinclay2018 #pottersmarketinvitational #pottersmarketatthemint A post shared by Michael Kline (@klineola) on Aug 24, 2018 at 7:02am PDT
