My six year old daughter, Evelyn joined me this afternoon for some pottery FUN. Since she couldn't quite reach the treadle on my wheel I was her "kicker" and she made a couple of little bowls.
Then she tried her hand at painting on this bowl. Not bad, huh? Maybe I should put her on the payroll. We enjoyed a soda and a nutty bar and listened to her new favorite oldies band, The Clash! Below is her "flower" bowl that's for salt, pepper, and any other spices you might need.
It was great for us to spend some time together and she was gracious enough to let me make a couple of pots, too.
